This script implements the Short Dark Triad Questionnaire (SD3) to assess the 'dark triad' of the
three socially aversive traits: Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy.

OVERVIEW

27 items (9 items per subscale) tested with 5-point Likert type questions.
The subscales are tested in the following order: 
(1) Machiavellianism
(2) narcissism
(3) psychopathy.

(1) Machiavellianism:
- callous affect 
- manipulativeness
- a strategic-calculating orientation (focus on long-term goals)

(2) Narcissism
- callous affect
- grandiosity
- quest for ego-reinforcement

(2) Psychopathy
- callous affect
- self-control deficits/impulsivity (focus on short-term goals)

The fields in the data files are:

(1) Raw data file: 'sd3.iqdat'

date, time:							date and time script was run with the current group/subjectnumber 
subject, group, session:	  		with the current subject/groupnumber/session id
build:								the Inquisit build 

q*_response:						response given (in assigned values)
									Scale: 1 (Disagree strongly) to 5 (Agree strongly)
									R = automatically reversed scored questions
									
q*_latency:							how much time (in ms) the participant spent on the surveyPage with this particular 
									question (the last time this particular surveyPage was visited)


(2) Summary data file: 'sd3_summary.iqdat' (Inquisit Lab: one data file per participant)

computer.platform:					the platform the script was run on (win/mac/ios/android)
startDate:							date script was run
startTime:							time script was started
subjectId:							assigned subject id number
groupId:							assigned group id number
sessionId:							assigned session id number
elapsedTime:						time it took to run script (in ms); measured from onset to offset of script
completed:							0 = script was not completed (prematurely aborted); 
									1 = script was completed (all conditions run)
									
m:									the mean score (1-5) on the Machiavellianism subscale
mZScore:							the calculated Machiavellianism z-score based on provided norming data (see below)
mPercentile:						the calculated percentile of the Machiavellianism z-score based on provided norming data (see below)
									
n:									the mean score (1-5) on the Narcissism subscale	
nZScore:							the calculated Narcissism z-score based on provided norming data (see below)
nPercentile:						the calculated percentile of the Narcissism z-score based on provided norming data (see below)

p:									the mean score (1-5) on the Psychopathy subscale	
nZScore:							the calculated Psychopathy z-score based on provided norming data (see below)
nPercentile:						the calculated percentile of the Psychopathy z-score based on provided norming data (see below)
